A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC and Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo has taken to his official X account on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 to react after former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
According to the letter that Paul Ibe, the Special Adviser to Atiku Abubakar on Media shared on his page, Atiku left the party due to the crisis in the party.
Reacting, Festus Keyamo criticized Atiku Abubakar for releasing his resignation letter during the week that the nation is mourning the death of Muhammadu Buhari.
Keyamo claimed that the act was deliberate so that the former Vice President can shift the attention away from the death of Muhammadu Buhari.
Keyamo described Atiku Abubakar as a man who lacks sympathy and empathy.
According to the statement that Festus Keyamo wrote on his official X account;
“You prepared, typed, signed and delivered that letter the morning after the passing away of the former President was announced”.
