Enyinnaya Abaribe, former Senate Minority Leader and senator representing Abia South senatorial district, has spoken about insecurity issues in the southeast. He stated that in some instances, people have discovered individuals living in bushes without any livestock, particularly cows

In a video shared by Arise TV from 24:52, Abaribe said these discoveries are alarming because they coincide with an increase in kidnappings and other criminal activities in the region. He suggested that there is connection between these hidden settlements and the rising cases of criminality in the southeast.

In Enyinnaya Abaribe’s words: “In the southeast, sometimes people go into bushes and they see some people living there, where is your cow, no cow with them. They are just living there. Then you are seeing kidnappings, you are seeing every other thing. So this is part of the instability that is going on”….Sée Móre
