In an interview with TVC Television from 21:33, political analyst Ken Okolugbo insisted that Governor Siminalayi Fubara has to take stock of his life.
After recounting how the governor himself had claimed that the elders in Rivers State were inexpensive and could be purchased for a few naira, he made this comment in fear that some of the elders who support Fubara would not like him.
He pointed out that, although a few of the elders are actually on the governor’s side, he has to determine with precision who his real supporters are.
According to Okolugbo, “Governor Fubara himself said that Rivers State does not have elders, that the elders are cheap, and that they can be bought with little naira.”
“He said that in a public statement, which I don’t think was proper, because there are also Rivers elders who are defending him and trying to protect him in his office.”
