Peter Obi Gives Condition To Step Down From 2027 Presidential Race

THECONSCIENCE NG reports that In a fiery interview on Channels Television at the Weekend former Anambra State Governor and 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has issued a bold challenge to his critics, declaring that he is ready to step down from the 2027 presidential race — but only on one condition.

Responding to tough questions from Channels anchor, Seun Okinbaloye, who asked him if he was part of a “criminal gang” as alleged by opposition voices, Peter Obi fired back with confidence:

“I am not a criminal. My public and private life are open for anyone to check. I governed Anambra State for 8 years and never took a kobo that didn’t belong to me as a governor. Even in my years in corporate and private business, my records are clean and available.

If anyone can point to just one place where I stole money — either as a governor or as a private citizen — I will step down from contesting the 2027 presidential election.” Peter Obi.
