Two students from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) in Ondo State, who had been missing, have sadly been found dead.

The students — Andrel Eloho Okah from the Department of History and International Studies, Faculty of Arts, and John Friday Abba from the Department of Economics, Faculty of Agriculture — were found over the weekend.

According to The Nation, their bodies were discovered about three weeks after they were first reported missing by their classmates.

The students’ friends began searching for them a week after they noticed they had stopped coming to classes and later informed the police.

A security officer told a reporter on Sunday that the two students had been killed by their suspected kidnappers. “It’s sad to inform you that the two missing AAUA students have been killed by their suspected abductors, and their dead body have been found where they kept them.
