According to a report by Daily Post on Saturday, July 12, 2025, President Bola Tinubu is taking bold steps to address Nigeria’s deeply rooted problems, as stated by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Communication, Sunday Dare.
Speaking during an appearance on the Mic On podcast, Dare revealed that Tinubu has begun probing longstanding national challenges — which he referred to as “devils” — that have hindered the country’s progress for decades.
He noted that President Tinubu’s administration is focused on delivering structural reforms, particularly in the oil, education, and health sectors. These interventions, he said, are designed to revive critical institutions and create a foundation for long-term development.
While acknowledging that the results may take time to materialise, Dare stressed the significance of initiating such reforms early. “He has begun to interrogate the ‘devils’ that have held this country down,” Dare stated, adding that Tinubu’s leadership is about confronting Nigeria’s challenges head-on rather than avoiding them.
