Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a strong warning to the 2027 opposition coalition and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) about an impending internal crisis.
In a post on his official X handle on Wednesday, 9 July 2025, Ayodele urged the opposition leaders to embrace unity and avoid actions that could destroy their chances.
He noted that he foresees intense infighting among the coalition members. According to him, this division would weaken their influence and scatter their efforts if not resolved quickly.
Ayodele stressed that the time to act was short. He advised the leaders to seek wisdom and peace, warning that failure to do so would ruin their prospects in the coming elections.
His remarks have stirred discussions among political observers, many of whom see his warning as a timely call for unity in the opposition camp as the 2027 race approaches.
