Prophet Joshua Iginla, leader and founder of Champions Royal Assembly, has shared his spiritual insight regarding the alliance recently formed between Peter Obi and the African Democratic Congress (ADC). According to him, the coalition may ultimately fail if Obi is not positioned as its presidential flagbearer.
In a YouTube message directed at both political stakeholders and the general public, Iginla stressed that while the coalition appears logical on the surface, it carries hidden dangers for Obi’s political future if not properly structured.
From a prophetic standpoint, he warned that any alliance where Obi does not lead will hold no real weight. If the former Anambra governor is made to play a secondary role, it would amount to squandering his hard-earned political influence.
Iginla insisted that those behind the coalition must understand Obi’s spiritual and political relevance and place him at the forefront. He advised that if the coalition cannot grant Obi the presidential slot, then it is better to delay the movement altogether. His message likened the scenario to weakening a general by stripping him of his command — a move that leads only to failure.
He described Obi’s political rise as something arranged by divine forces rather than human backing. To him, assigning Obi to any role less than the presidency would be a clear departure from that divine path.
In his own words, he remarked, “Prophetically, if Peter Obi is not at the forefront of this coalition, it will be inconsequential. If he becomes a second-class citizen, it’s a waste of his political capital,” he declared.
If he is not given the number one seat, then it’s better to wait. You don’t empower a general by taking away his army,” Iginla warned.
Turning his attention to the current government led by President Bola Tinubu, Iginla stated that the administration still appears firmly established in the spirit. He observed that the seat of power remains intact, and the current captain of the nation is still in control. Should there be any change, he assured that a fresh prophetic message would be delivered in due time.
He went further to issue a serious health warning directed at key figures within the present administration. According to the prophet, health concerns loom over at least three top officials. He stressed the urgency of taking care of one’s health, saying that political battles are for the living, not the dead.
Concluding his message, Iginla noted that these are not guesses but early revelations meant to prepare the nation for what lies ahead. He foresaw betrayals, instability, and turbulence within the political space. Yet, despite the coming storm, he stated that the leadership is unlikely to shift — unless a significant spiritual change occurs.
