Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan has spoken about two legal cases brought against her by the federal government. Natasha said many people expected that she would be sent to prison in Suleja because of the charges.
In a video shared by ESET TV from 3:21, Natasha said one of the cases resulted in the court granting her bail set at 50 million naira, along with a surety.
Natasha said in the second case, she was granted bail on “self-recognition”. She said this was because she has never been charged with any criminal offence before, and the case was not about a heinous offence
In Natasha’s words: “We had two other cases of the federal government against me which a number of people anticipated that I will be locked up at the Suleja Prison. But unfortunately, one of it had me granted bail of 50 million naira and a surety, and the other granted me bail on self-recognition”
