A member of the House of Representatives, Engr. Remi Oseni, has declared strong support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, as reported by Daily Independent on Sunday, 5th July, 2025.
Oseni represents the Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency in Oyo State.
Speaking in Ibadan during the launch of the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF), he said no opposition coalition can stop Tinubu from winning again.
He described the president as a visionary leader and insisted that Nigerians will still vote for him in the next election.
Oseni also promised that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will reclaim Oyo State in 2027.
He said he is ready to lead the battle against the ruling party in the state.
According to him, it does not matter whether he runs for governor or not; he is determined to make APC victorious.
He praised his own performance in the last election, saying he won all polling units in his constituency for President Tinubu.
He also said he was the only candidate in Oyo State whose victory was not challenged in court.
Oseni stated that his group, ROCOF, is now one of the strongest political movements in Oyo State.
He claimed that the group is even more organized than many political parties and that most party leaders in the state support it.
He described ROCOF as a movement for change and unity, not a political, ethnic, or religious group.
Oseni said the group stands for justice, equity, and good governance, and will help build a better Nigeria.
He defended Tinubu’s reforms, especially the removal of petrol subsidies, saying it was a painful but necessary step.
He urged Nigerians to support the president’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” for lasting progress.
“I will lead the battle, it doesn’t matter if I become the governorship flagbearer of our part (APC) or not, but I will be very active in the process, in fact I will lead the battle that will make sure that our dear Party, the APC return to power in Oyo state. You dare not confront a lion, I’m the only person throughout the county that delivered all the polling units in my Constituency for President Tinubu.”
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be President of Nigeria beyond 2027 irrespective of any coalition, it’s only in Nigeria that some people will want to eat without working,” he said.
