During a gathering of APC South-South stakeholders, Tony Okocha, chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, declared that a significant political wave is about to hit the state in favor of the ruling party. He spoke confidently about the groundwork already being laid to ensure APC’s dominance in upcoming political contests.
In a video posted on TVC from 1:13:10, Okocha highlighted the aggressive mobilization efforts of the APC across the grassroots in Rivers State, aimed at sensitizing and aligning the electorate with the party’s vision. He dismissed the capacity of any rival political party to challenge APC’s position in the state.
According to him, “Let me say to us, sir, that because we started envisioning some of the crooked legs. APC, Rivers State, started going into the nooks and crannies to conscientize and sensitize our people, and as we speak, I do not know of any political party that will, for any reason whatsoever, defeat APC in Rivers State. I don’t know of that party, and I want to assure you that very soon, there’s going to be a tsunami. Very, very soon there will be a tsunami. We will not reveal the content of that tsunami, but you’ll hear it, and you’ll like it.”
