Coalition: Reactions After Julius Abure Gave Peter Obi 48 Hours To Resign And Leave The Labour Party

There have been several reactions from social media users after Barrister Julius Abure told the former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Gregory Obi, to resign from the Labour Party.

This was contained in a post that was shared on the official X handle of Julius Abure on Wednesday, July 3, 2025.

This is coming after Peter Obi joined several opposition leaders at the unveiling of ADC as coalition platform in Abuja.

In the statement that surfaced online, Julius Abure stated that members of the coalition are desperate. He said the coalition can not birth a new Nigeria that Nigerians have been clamouring for.

He, however, told the former presidential candidate to resign from the Labour Party within 48 hours.
