In a spirited video message broadcast on Symfoni TV, former senator Dino Melaye passionately declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is poised to take over Nigeria’s highest seat of power, despite the distractions and internal crises plaguing other political parties.

Addressing a crowd of supporters, Melaye, known for his outspoken style and dramatic delivery, insisted: “They can carry it wherever they want; all we know is that ADC is moving to the Villa.” With this statement, he dismissed the ongoing struggles within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as irrelevant to the broader national goal of unseating the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Melaye explained that his focus, and that of many others who have shifted political allegiance, is now firmly behind the ADC. Describing the party as “the unity party of Nigeria,” he called on Nigerians everywhere to rally around it, highlighting the urgency to rescue the country from what he labeled as “economic and political scavengers.”

“We’re going to march where we need to march, protest where we need to protest, and resist when necessary,” Melaye affirmed, adding that the fight ahead is a “battle of no retreat.”

In his message, Melaye also urged practical action: encouraging supporters to wear ADC caps, display the party’s flag on taxis and businesses, and talk about ADC in every corner of the country—from polling units to local government wards.

Concluding, Melaye expressed confidence that, by divine grace and through united effort, ADC would triumph, ushering in a new era of justice, accountability, and leadership rooted in the will of the people.
