Dele Momodu, a politician and media personality, has shared his thoughts about the recent event where the African Democratic Congress (ADC) was officially adopted as the platform for a coalition of opposition parties ahead of the 2027 elections.
In an interview with Arise TV, Momodu said one of the most important things that happened at the event, which many people did not notice, was the presence of former APC national chairman and ex-governor of Edo State, John Oyegun. He said Oyegun’s attendance was very meaningful because Oyegun is widely respected in Nigerian politics.
Momodu said he had worked closely with Oyegun in the past during their time in exile with Tinubu, and he described Oyegun as a true gentleman. He said Oyegun was not at the event because he wanted money, power, or position, but simply because he believed in the importance of the moment.
