General Christopher Musa, Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, has spoken about how the military justice system should work. He said military justice is supposed to be quick and effective so that discipline is maintained.

General Musa said the reason for this fast justice process was to keep order among soldiers. He also said that today, human rights laws have slowed down the justice process in the military and some people are now doing things they would not have dared to do in the past.
