According to a report by Fox News from 0:16, on Friday April 17, 2026, President Donald Trump announced a major diplomatic breakthrough Thursday, claiming that Iran has agreed to surrender its stockpile of enriched uranium material he referred to as nuclear dust following a series of devastating U.S. airstrikes.

Speaking to reporters on the South Lawn before departing for Marine One, the President struck a triumphant tone, suggesting that a long-standing military and nuclear standoff with Tehran may be nearing a resolution.

“Iran does not have a nuclear weapon and Iran has agreed to that and agreed to it powerfully,” Trump stated. “They have agreed to give us back the nuclear dust that is way under ground because of attack we made with the B-2 bombers.”
