Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has shared how peace and unity are gradually returning to the state under his leadership. During an interview with Channels Television from 15.40, he explained how farmers and herders, who were once in conflict, are now living and working side by side peacefully.

He said during one of his recent visits to a local government area, he stopped by a farm where both farmers and herders were nearby. “Where I stopped, you could see cows, and just less than 50 meters away, you’d see a farm,” he said. “I brought all of them together, and we had a discussion.” This shows that he is trying to create peace between the two groups and make sure everyone feels safe.

Governor Sani also mentioned that he regularly visits different parts of the state, including places that were once known for bandit attacks like Birnin Gwari. He said these visits are not for politics but to connect with the people and help them.

When asked if bandits had been chased away, he confidently replied that Kaduna is now safe. “You can travel from Kaduna to Birnin Gwari, Kachia, or Giwa with your eyes closed,” he said, meaning there’s no more fear like before.
