Ayodeji Adeyemi, the operations manager at Air Peace airline, has given a different side of the story regarding the recent clash between Senator Adams Oshiomhole, some passengers, and the airline.
During an interview with Channels Television from 7.27, Adeyemi explained that the two women who were seen speaking with Senator Oshiomhole during the incident were not even supposed to be on the flight in question. He said, “The two ladies that Senator Oshiomhole interviewed himself… were not on the flight at all. They never booked to travel on that 6:30 flight on June 12, 2025.”
According to Adeyemi, one of the women, who had a baby, was only trying to check if she could get on an earlier flight that day. However, neither she nor the baby had tickets for that flight. Air Peace also showed proof of their ticket history to confirm this.
He further explained that the women only got involved after seeing Senator Oshiomhole at the airport. Being a well-known public figure, his actions, such as jumping over a conveyor belt and encouraging others to protest, drew their attention. “They were spoiled by him,” Adeyemi said, meaning the women were influenced by Oshiomhole’s behavior and joined the protest even though they had no right to board that flight.
