Adams Oshiomhole, Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District and former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), did not hold back during a heated interview on Channels Television, where he was questioned about the performance of the current administration and its ability to fulfil campaign promises. The anchor, Seun Okinbaloye, had asked if politicians like Oshiomhole and his colleagues were “doing the right thing” in terms of leadership, governance, and service delivery.

In a manner characteristic of his outspoken political style, Oshiomhole deflected the premise of the question and instead challenged the definition of what qualifies as the “right thing”, throwing a direct jab at a former presidential contender known for using similar rhetoric.

According to him, “What is the right thing? Because you’re now beginning to talk like one of the defeated presidential candidates.” He will always say, “Do the right thing,” but you have to define what the right thing is.”
