Kingsley Sunny, the president of Ifo Igbo Market Traders, said that it was when Mrs. Blessing Eze shouted that they all ran out of their shops and they saw that she had been stabbed. He revealed this while talking about the threat faced by Igbo traders in the Ifo market.

According to reports by the Punch News, Kingsley Sunny said, “Nobody knew it would lead to a senseless killing.” He added, “It was when she shouted that we ran out of our shops. We saw that she was gasping for breath.”

Kingsley Sunny identified the attacker as “Usher,” who was part of a group of 15 touts. According to eyewitnesses, they demanded money from Mrs. Eze, who refused, leading to an altercation. During the chaos, Usher stabbed her with a knife. The incident was part of a larger pattern of extortion and intimidation by the group, which had previously led to arguments and altercations.
