Former Kaduna state governorship candidate, Shehu Sani has taken to social media to state that one of the many benefits of modifying Nigeria’s name is that Nigerians can inform China that such name is no longer in existence and they cannot pay them back the loan that Nigeria took from them.
The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) chieftain who made such statement through his official X account few minutes ago, proposed a bill for an Act to change the name of Nigeria to either Federal Republic of SONGHAI, United African Republic or Federal Republic of AZIKENIA.

According to Shehu Sani, one of the advantage of changing the country’s name is that they can tell China that Nigeria has died and they cannot pay them the money that the late Nigeria borrowed from them.
