Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication to Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X account on Monday to react after the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was sealed.
According to the post that Lere Olayinka made on his page, he said the FCT government made the decision to seal the building after it owed the sum of N7,603,504 as ground rent for a period of 28 years.
According to Punch, it was also stated that the govenment also sealed some other buildings in the Federal Capital Territory.
In the post that Lere Olayinka made, he recalled how he paid to obtain PDP nomination form some years back. He said he was not the only one who obtained the form during the period.
According to Lere Olayinka on his official X account;
“On Wadata Plaza being used as PDP National Secretariat, N7,603,504.31 is being owed as 28 years ground rent. Meanwhile, I paid N2.7m for PDP Nomination Form for House of Representatives in 2022”.
