Daniel Bwala, a lawyer, has stated that former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi is unlikely to become president anytime soon due to the current political permutations.
In an interview with Control TV Start at 3:43, Bwala predicted that Obi will have to wait until 2039 for a realistic opportunity to become president. He said after power stays in the south for eight years, the north will hold power for eight years and it will then move back to the south. He said if Obi remains relevant and has a strong message in 2039, he would have a better shot at the presidency
In Bwala’s words: “Peter Obi does not have a path until 2039 when power would have come to the North for 8years and go back to the south. Then if he is relevant, if he is effective, if he has a good message or if he has reinvented himself, he will become a factor”….S££ MOR£
