Social media users have taken to their official X account to react after Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy, released photos of the Kano-Jigawa-Katsina-Maradi railway that the government is constructing.
Bayo Onanuga made the pictures available on his official X account on Tuesday.
According to him, aside the Kano-Jigawa-Katsina-Maradi railway, the government is also constructing some roads and overhead bridges.
He said the contractors have given an assurance that the projects will be delivered in 2026.

“Ongoing work on the Kano-Jigawa-Katsina-Maradi railway. Access roads and overhead bridges are also being built. 2026 December is the planned delivery date, according to the contractors”.
