A new situation has emerged in the political struggle between Senate President Godswill Akpabio and suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from Kogi Central, according to report from VANGUARD.

Recently, Mrs. Francess Olisa-Ogbonnaya, a journalist and gender advocate, responded strongly to claims made by Sandra Duru, a UK-based influencer known as Professor Mgbeke. Duru alleged that Akpoti-Uduaghan threatened to disrupt President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Olisa-Ogbonnaya dismissed both Duru’s claims and the notion that Akpoti-Uduaghan bribed former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, to cause chaos during the investigation into sexual harassment accusations against Akpabio.

In a conversation with Adeola Fayehun, a prominent social media figure, Olisa-Ogbonnaya questioned the validity of Duru’s statements.

She expressed disbelief at the idea that a senator from Kogi could pose a threat to a government led by Tinubu, emphasizing the unlikelihood of such a scenario and critiquing the lack of evidence backing Duru’s allegations.

She said;

“I was shocked when I heard her saying in the audio that Senator Natasha threatened to bring down a Yoruba Government. Why didn’t she put out that audio? Because nothing like that happened in the audio she (Duru) played for me.”
