Professor Usman Yusuf, former head of the National Health Insurance Scheme, has raised concerns about Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Tinubu, using presidential jets for trips around the country.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Daily Trust TV, Yusuf questioned who gave Seyi the permission to use presidential jets, considering he holds no official government position. He said the media would have reacted very differently if Yusuf Buhari, the son of former President Buhari, had done the same thing.
Yusuf also said that governors were even showing up at airports to welcome Seyi, and he asked in what capacity Seyi deserved that kind of treatment.

In Yusuf’s words: “Who gave him that clearance to use presidential jets to be going all over the place. Governors were going to the airport to get him, in his capacity as what? Can you imagine what the press would have said if it was the only son of Buhari, Yusuf, that was doing what Tinubu’s son, Seyi, is doing.
