Ann Kio Briggs, a member of PANDEF, has reacted to Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas’ demand that the NBA should return ₦300 million given to them by Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, Briggs said former Governor Nyesom Wike’ administration gave ₦500 million to Sokoto State after a fire incident. She also mentioned that Wike gave ₦300 million of Rivers State money to some women in Lagos who were singing hallelujah songs.

Briggs said that if Ibas is serious about recovering Rivers State’s money, he should investigate the administrations of all past governors of the state since 1999, rather than focusing solely on Fubara.
