In a heated confrontation, former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo has publicly condemned the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike for allegedly using police officers to attack unarmed women with teargas and gunfire.

The incident, which was captured in a video shared by Sahara TV has sparked widespread reactions.

Asari Dokubo, visibly outraged accused Wike of orchestrating the attack in an attempt to lure him into a confrontation.

“You are making mouth. You are shooting Teargas at Unarmed Women. You are shooting guns at Unarmed Women. All because you wanted to lure me. Without the police, why didn’t you confront her? Was it the job of the police to shoot Teargas on Unarmed Women? Where in any civilized society is that done?” he said.

The altercation is believed to have been linked to the ongoing political tension in Rivers State, where Wike, a former governor has been at the center of political power struggles.
