Senate President Godswill Akpabio has spoken about his past relationship with Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan amid their ongoing disagreement. He said he had considered her husband a close friend and was even present at their wedding in 2022.
Speaking in a video shared by Viable Television after the suspension of Senator Natasha, Akpabio recalled that he spent the night at Natasha’s house in Kogi on the day of her wedding in 2022. He said the next day, he rushed to Obajana airport to catch his flight, but the plane couldn’t land because the airport had no lighting. He said as a result, he missed his flight and had to stay at Dangote’s cement factory with nine other people.
In Akpabio’s words: “On the day of Natasha’s wedding I slept in her house in Kogi in 2022. The next day I ran to Obajana airport, I missed my flight because the plane could not land since they had no light so I ended up sleeping at Dangote’s cement factory with 9 people. So I spent 3 days”
