Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has publicly condemned Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning singer, for allegedly failing to fulfill his promise to purchase a Lamborghini for socialite Sophia Egbueje after a one-night stand.
This accusation came to light through a leaked audio recording between Sophia and her friend.
In the recording, Sophia claimed that Burna Boy had reneged on his promise, prompting the singer to respond with mocking comments on social media.
Angela Okorie swiftly came to Sophia’s defense, arguing that Burna Boy had taken advantage of the socialite, knowing full well her expectations.
Okorie emphasized that Burna Boy, as a public figure and role model, should have led by example and honored his commitment. Instead, he chose to ridicule Sophia, which Okorie deemed unacceptable.
In a video message shared on her Instagram page, Okorie expressed her disappointment, stating that it was the ‘wrongest’ thing to do and any man who indulges in it is a coward and also has low self esteem.
