Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed strong confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure a second term in 2027, believing that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is fully committed to supporting Tinubu’s re-election and will not consider any other candidate for the presidency, as reported by THE SUN.

According to Kalu, past presidents in Nigeria who did not perform exceptionally well still managed to win re-election.

He sees Tinubu as a strong contender and expects Nigerians to support his leadership for another term.

He stated that the APC will remain united and will not face internal disputes over its presidential ticket.

Kalu also stressed the importance of continuing economic and political reforms.

He pointed out that many Nigerians often fail to recognize the long-term benefits of government policies and tend to abandon reforms too soon.

He urged the public to be patient and allow Tinubu’s administration to complete its agenda for national development.

With the ruling party’s firm backing and a focus on ongoing reforms, Kalu is confident that Tinubu will return as president in 2027.

He called on Nigerians to consolidate the gains of Tinubu’s leadership rather than disrupt progress with unnecessary political changes.

“The good news is that we shall win again and President Tinubu will return.”

“To be honest with you Asiwaju will win, many Presidents in Nigeria who have not done very well, I won’t call any names and they won their second term. We are appealing to Nigerians to support us.”
