In a recent video from 01:35 on Fox Tv, an American F-15E Strike Eagle was shot down over central Iran, highlighting ongoing military risks and escalating tensions in the region, FOX News senior correspondent Mike Tobin reported. The incident follows claims by the U.S. President regarding the destruction of Iran’s air defense systems, which now appear overstated.

“Following false claims by the U.S. President about the complete destruction of Iran’s air defense system, an American hostile fighter jet was shot down in central Iranian airspace by a newly developed advanced aerospace defense system operated by the IRGC,” Tobin said.

The search area is located in southwestern Iran, a dry and mountainous region that poses significant operational challenges. Tobin explained, “The search area is in southwest Iran. It’s a dry mountainous region. The aircraft that went down is an F-15E Strike Eagle. While the pilot was being rescued, search and rescue operations came under enemy fire. Two members on the helicopters were injured but they managed to land safely.”

In addition to the F-15E, a U.S. A-10 Warthog was also reported downed after coming under enemy fire. Tobin confirmed, “Also today, a USA-10 Warthog crashed after coming under enemy fire. There was one crew member on the Warthog. The pilot has been recovered and, through it all, Tomi, Iran is still firing missiles.”

Tobin emphasized the complexity of the situation, with search and rescue missions proceeding under the threat of enemy fire and missile attacks. The coordinated efforts between U.S. and allied forces are critical to recovering personnel while minimizing further casualties. Read_More…
