The United States of America Air Force recently pledged to go after terrorist organizations across the country and Africa. In his statements which were shared by VANGUARD, the Commander of the United States Air Force, General James Hecker made it known that they will carry out airstrikes against the terrorist organizations across Africa.

The activities of terrorist groups across Africa and Nigeria in particular, especially Boko Haram and Lakurawas had generated a lot of concerns after the reports of the aide received from foreign organizations surfaced online. This prompted calls from different quarters, urging the international community to take pragmatic actions to curb their threats.

In light of this, the Commander of the United States Air Force, Europe and Africa, General James Hecker in a recent statement which was made available to the general public by news outlet, VANGUARD today being Thursday the 20th day of February 2025, made it known that they will go after the terrorist organizations across Africa.

According to the military general, the terrorist organizations are high value targets that threatens African nations and the United States.

He further made it known that they will continue to go after them as they are a threat to their African partners, particularly Nigeria.

‘In his words’

“They are significant high-value targets that threaten African nations and threaten the United States.

“So we will continue to go after terrorist organisations that threaten our African partners as well as the United States.” He said.

The statements from the Military General however, stirred mixed reactions from the general public as many believe necessary actions should be taken against the terrorist organizations urgently.
