Femi Fani-Kayode, former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, has made a series of serious allegations against former U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the situation in Gaza. In an open letter published by Daily Trust, Fani-Kayode accused Trump of supporting the forced displacement of Palestinians and seeking to take control of Gaza, transforming it into an exclusive real estate hub catering to wealthy American investors.

According to Daily Trust, Fani-Kayode claimed that Trump’s administration had plans to displace the remaining 1.6 million Palestinians in Gaza, a region that once housed 2.5 million people before decades of war and destruction. He alleged that the U.S. administration sought to turn the area into a high-end tourist destination and exclusive real estate for wealthy individuals, disregarding the long-standing history and identity of the Palestinian people.

In his letter, Fani-Kayode condemned this move, describing it as an effort to erase Palestinian heritage and culture. He pointed out the ongoing violence in Gaza, emphasizing that Palestinians have been subjected to mass killings, displacement, and destruction for 76 years, largely attributed to Israeli actions and the complicity of its allies.

The former aviation minister argued that Palestine had existed for over 2,000 years and its people have a legitimate claim to their land. He expressed deep frustration with any efforts to forcibly remove Palestinians and turn their land over to foreign investors. Fani-Kayode described the situation as part of a systematic plan to replace an entire population with outsiders, thus attempting to erase the Palestinians’ identity and history.

Fani-Kayode’s letter to Trump strongly criticizes the displacement plans, urging the global community to recognize these actions as part of a broader effort to erase Palestinian culture and heritage. He called for justice to be served to protect the rights of the Palestinian people, demanding that the world resist such moves that would further harm a population already suffering from decades of violence and injustice. He highlighted the tragedy of the ongoing violence, saying, “This is the land in which their loved ones and families have been caged, butchered and buried by your murderous Zionist friends for the last 76 years.
