Former ADC National Chairman Ralph Nwosu has alleged that the ADC faction loyal to Nafiu Bala Gombe, which is contesting the party’s leadership, is being bankrolled by certain governors and is regularly travelling to Lagos and Owerri in Imo State for meetings with their backers.
Speaking in an interview from 3:31 with Symfoni TV, Nwosu said, “I know some of these guys, most of them now live in some of the biggest hotels in the country. At times, they fly private jets, and I can tell you where they go. They fly private jets to Lagos, they fly private jets to Owerri, I know the governors who are funding them, and I know the offices here that are also funding them. So we know all of these things,” he said.
Asked about the path forward for the ADC, Nwosu was defiant and resolute. He said the party would press ahead with all its internal processes and complete them regardless of any opposition, adding that INEC had already been formally notified of the upcoming congress by stamped letter.
Whether INEC chose to send observers or not, he said, the ADC was confident it was on the right side of the law and anyone who tried to stop the process would find the party ready to meet the challenge head-on. Read_More…
