Former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker and renowned human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his official X handle to send a strong warning across following the heated arguments that trailed the recent de-recognition of the African Democratic Congress, ADC. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that president Donald Trump should not be involved.
The recent de-recognition of the African Democratic Congress, ADC by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC sparked massive public debate as many argued that their actions were politically motivated.
However, Senator Shehu Sani, a renowned human rights activist and former federal lawmaker in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, addressed the controversies that followed INEC’s actions.
According to his statements, the outspoken former federal lawmaker pointed out that president Donald Trump must not be involved in the debacle.
In his arguments, he also pointed out that Nigeria was not among the top fifty of his priority list.
“You want to report INEC who is reportedly thinking of running for third term for himself. The same person who ignored the elections in Uganda and Tanzania. I don’t think we are among his top 50 priorities for now. Better you report to CAF.” He wrote. Read_More…
