The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Felix Morka, has responded to Atiku Abubakar’s claim that the APC-led government is making efforts to destabilize and weaken opposition parties in the country.
In an interview with Arise TV from 6:47, Felix Morka dismissed Atiku Abubakar’s allegation, describing it as a mere suggestion and stating that the former Vice President was not speaking from any knowledge of the actions of the APC. He emphasized that the APC had done nothing to support such claims.
Morka stated that Atiku Abubakar was likely setting the stage for his own anticipated failure, given the ongoing crisis within the PDP. He noted that Atiku’s priority should be to fix the internal issues of his party, especially the recent issues surrounding the office of the National Secretary. Morka described the situation as a mess and urged Atiku to focus on resolving these internal challenges rather than making unfounded allegations against the APC.
He said, “That is just a suggestion by Alhaji Abubakar, he is not speaking from any knowledge of anything the APC has done. We have done nothing. Right now, we are in the calm political season. I think that Mr Abubakar is simply setting the stage for what I think is his own projection of failure in the future. His party is in crisis. The only thing Atiku Abubakar needs to be doing right now, is to fix his house, put his house in order. But under his watch, the PDP is imploding. Look at the recent mess going on with the office of the National Secretary of that party. It’s a mess, he needs to be cleaning up, not making allegations that are without any shred of evidence.”
