In a video from 0:50 shared by Pulse Nigeria, a mother whose son, Promise, was killed during the Palm Sunday attack in Anguwan Rukuba community of Jos, stated that she is deeply sad over his death
Promise’s mother said she has food at home but since on Sunday, March 29, 2026 when Promise was killed she has not been able to eat anything. She said Promise used to wake her up every morning and ask her to eat her food, while addressing her as his “baby”.
In her words: “My food is in the fridge, since Sunday I have not eaten. Promise would usually wake up in the morning and call me ‘Baby, get up and eat your food’.
