Chief Dele Momodu, a member of the PDP, has expressed his frustration over the current political crisis in the party involving FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

Speaking in an interview with Channels TV from 45:41, Momodu said he feels disappointed because people like him fought hard against military rule in the past and many of those causing problems in Nigeria now did not contribute to the fight for democracy back then.

Momodu mentioned that he never heard of Nyesom Wike in 1995 but today Wike claims to be the most powerful man and that nothing can happen without him. He added that power comes from God and it should not be used to oppress others.

In Momodu’s words: “In 1995 I never heard of a Wike before, so Wike says today ‘I am the most powerful man, no body can do anything in Nigeria without me’. That is fine, God has given you power but don’t use that power to oppress others. Just do your own and leave the rest to God”
