Renowned commentator Khaled Hassan has lauded the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as the “bravest, most creative military in modern history,” paying special tribute to the Yahalom unit and honoring all fàllen and injured soldìers.

In a statement shared on his verified Twitter account, Hassan expressed profound admiration for the IDF’s accomplishments, emphasizing its unparalleled achievements in modern military history.

“No military in modern history ever achieved anywhere near what the IDF achieved,” Hassan remarked. “If you ever put on an IDF uniform, you should be proud today, and every day.”

Particularly highlighting the contributions of Yahalom—an elite engineering and explosives unit within the IDF—Hassan acknowledged the critical role its soldiers have played in safeguarding Israel. Yahalom specializes in detecting and dismantling tunnels, booby traps, and explosive devices, often operating in high-risk scenarios to neutralize threats.
