In a video posted on Symfoni TV from 8:09, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has called for peace and restraint among his supporters, emphasizing the importance of lawful conduct in advancing community development.

“The only thing I will ask in return is to continue supporting this administration and being law-abiding,” the Governor stated, adding that “That is the only way we can get more progress and development into your community.”

Addressing potential provocations, Governor Fubara urged for calm and peaceful resolution of conflicts. “No matter the level of provocation, try to control your temper. We don’t use fighting to resolve fights,” he emphasized. “Using peace, applied in very intelligent methods, defeats trouble.”

The Governor also acknowledged potential legal challenges facing his supporters, offering words of encouragement: “I know that when we finish this thing, some of you might be taken to court today, some of you might be charged for one offense or the other. But just be strong. We are there.”

His remarks come amid ongoing political tensions in Rivers State, highlighting the administration’s stance on peaceful conflict resolution and the rule of law. The Governor’s call for peaceful engagement and legal compliance reflects efforts to maintain stability while pursuing development goals in the state.
