In a revealing broadcast on Symfoni TV from 12:01, prominent Niger Delta Activist and Elder Statesman Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe delivered a scathing assessment of former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike’s current political standing.
Challenging Wike’s narrative of continued local support, Sara-Igbe was unequivocal in his critique. “This propaganda of Wike is coming to cover Port Harcourt is all propaganda,” he declared.
The activist pinpointed the erosion of Wike’s political influence, specifically highlighting his diminished local government control. “He has lost the local government and that is the strength he thought he would have. The local governments are no longer in his hands,” Sara-Igbe emphasized.
Warning against potential electoral manipulation, he issued a direct challenge to Wike’s potential strategies. “And if he think he can use the police or INEC to rig election, he is wasting his time,” Sara-Igbe stated.
Underlining the critical importance of grassroots support in any electoral process, he added, “You must have people to rig election.”
The activist concluded with a damning assessment of public sentiment: “Rivers people are not happy because of the way he went.”
