According to a report that was published by VANGUARD on Saturday, human rights activist, Rita Lori-Ogbebor has stated that after Mallam Nasir El-Rufai left as FCT Minister, the administration of Mohammed Musa Bello approved the land and they made an initial deposit of N10 million.

She made the comment after the FCT administration under the leadership of Nyesom Wike, marked the property of Late Colonel Ogbebor for demolition.

Rita Lori-Ogbebor stated that after the deposit was made, it was discovered that their plot number was missing in the system during the process of obtaining receipts.

According to Rita Lori-Ogbebor;

“During Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s tenure as FCT Minister, when recertification, verification, and validation of documents and land allocations were conducted, we initiated the process.

“After El-Rufai left, in 2020, we requested to restart the process. Then, the FCT Minister Mohammed Musa Bello approved it on 1 February 2023, and we made an initial deposit of N10 million”.
