In an exclusive interview, Sen. Dave Umahi, the Minister of Works, shared his confidence and optimism about tackling the challenges of role. Reflecting on his past successes, he expressed gratitude and faith in his ability to overcome obstacles.
“I am very happy that I have a quite challenging job,” Umahi stated. “When I look at my past with gratitude to God, I have never failed in any challenging situation that I find myself. I believe strongly that this one will come and pass with success.”
The minister also took the opportunity to praise President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a courageous and divinely chosen leader. “The character and content of the man that gave us this job is that he is a man of courage. I always say to him that you are a divine president judging from the way the election went and how he emerged, because he surmounted a lot of obstacles like the redesign of the Naira, fuel scarcity, and scarcity of funds he met.”
“I believe that the President is sent by God to help the country,” Umahi emphasized. “He has taken a lot of hard decisions, and none of these hard decisions ever failed. The Renewed Hope agenda is reconstructing our roads. There is renewed hope in the way we manage and construct our roads.”
