One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his official X account to react after the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Adeboye said if not for God’s intervention, $1 could have been N10,000.
According to The Guardian, Adeboye said that;
“Before our current president took office, we were aware that the root of our financial issues lay in the importation of petrol. Despite having oil, we continued to import petrol and waste billions on refineries that did not operate effectively. If God hadn’t intervened, $1 could have been worth N10,000 by now. This illustrates how much we need prayers”.
Reacting to the statement, Senator Shehu Sani said since prayer can save the currency of Nigeria from falling, the Central Bank of Nigeria should open a special spiritual department.
According to Shehu Sani on his page;
“Since prayer can save our national currency from falling, the Central Bank should open a special spiritual department”.
