Renowned Nigerian senator, author, and human rights activist, Shehu Sani, has lauded the accomplishments of National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, in addressing the country’s long-standing security challenges. In a post on his official X handle, formerly known as Twitter, Sani highlighted Ribadu’s achievements as remarkable and unparalleled in the country’s fight against insecurity.
Sani noted that Ribadu had succeeded where many of his predecessors, despite vast financial investments, had failed.
According to him, the NSA’s tenure has been marked by notable milestones, including the neutralization of top bandit leaders, an end to the mass abduction of students in northern schools, and the restoration of safety to rail lines and major highways in northern Nigeria that were once notorious for kidnappings.
He also praised Ribadu’s prompt response to terrorist attacks on power infrastructure, an issue that had plagued the nation for years.
“Security challenges are not over, but in all indices of comparison, he has performed better and set unprecedented records,” Sani stated. While acknowledging the legitimacy of political criticism, Sani stressed that Ribadu’s performance in delivering on his mandate remains unparalleled.
