Primate Elijah Ayodele, the spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has made strong claims about Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election. He said Peter Obi, the former Labour Party candidate, will not become president.
Speaking in a Facebook video, he said Obi is not the right person to lead Nigeria. He believes that even if millions support Obi, it won’t change anything because, in his view, God has not chosen Obi for that role. Ayodele warned that if Obi ever becomes president, the country would face serious problems and confusion.
He also criticized Obi’s supporters, often called “Obidients.” Ayodele said they are not helping Obi but could actually harm his chances. He claimed that Obi is aware he cannot win but is still pushing hard out of desperation.
“Peter Obi will never be president in 2027. Let there be three billion Obedients, if obi rule this country it will turn up side down triple billion times because God did not give the power to Obi.”
