In a recent video from 6:07, Popular Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a fresh political warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging him to intensify efforts across key regions if he hopes to secure future electoral victory.

In a statement released on Sunday, Ayodele cautioned that the President cannot rely solely on perceived strongholds, stressing that the political landscape across the country is shifting rapidly. According to him, while the North remains a crucial base, it should not be taken for granted.

“Tinubu is only strong in the North for now, but you need to work very hard in the North and the East if you want to win, there are even places in the Yoruba states where you need to work very hard because people are not happy with your government,” Ayodele said. “The political reality is changing, and there are growing concerns among the people that must be addressed urgently.”

The cleric further emphasized that the South-West, widely regarded as Tinubu’s political base, is no longer entirely secure. He warned that dissatisfaction is brewing even within Yoruba states, a development he described as dangerous for the President’s political future if not handled properly.

Ayodele attributed the growing discontent to economic hardship, governance concerns, and unmet expectations among citizens. He urged the President to take proactive steps to reconnect with the জনগ and implement policies that would directly improve the living conditions of Nigerians.

Political analysts say such warnings, though spiritual in nature, often reflect underlying public sentiment. In recent months, there have been increasing complaints from citizens over rising inflation, cost of living, and security challenges across different parts of the country.

Ayodele advised Tinubu to engage more with grassroots communities, listen to their concerns, and avoid relying solely on political structures or party loyalty. According to him, failure to address these issues could weaken the President’s chances in future elections.

He also stressed the importance of the South-East region, noting that it remains a critical battleground that cannot be ignored. “The East is very important. You must work seriously there. Don’t overlook any region if you truly want to succeed,” he warned.

The cleric concluded by urging the President to act swiftly, noting that time is a crucial factor in politics. He maintained that with the right strategies, reconciliation efforts, and people-oriented policies, Tinubu could still strengthen his position nationwide.

As political activities gradually begin to shape ahead of future elections, Ayodele’s remarks add to the growing discourse on the need for inclusive governance and strategic political engagement across Nigeria’s diverse regions. Read_More…
