The former Minister of Youth & Sports, Barr. Solomon Dalung, during a recent interview, spoke on the life and timeline of former president Muhammadu Buhari as Nigerians bid him farewell on the daily politics show.
When he was talking during an interview (Between 20-21 minute) with Trust TV’s correspondent, Solomon Dalung claimed that his former boss was the most understood political leader in the history of Nigeria, has he also claimed that after his departure, a lot is going to happen in the country’s political space.
He said, “Buhari was APC. It was Buhari’s charisma, that brought victory to APC. Even in 2015, Buhari brought his consistent, notorious, and natural votes of 12 million. The whole merger of three political parties with a big name, the glory claimers, the glory seekers, who have been beating their chest brought just 3 million. So, Buhari was APC. With the exit of Buhari, a unifying factor in the APC has gone.
