The spokesperson of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Bolaji Abdullahi has stated that the party has not started talking about zoning the presidential ticket.
This statement was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of PUNCH on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
This statement is coming after the former governor of Anambra state said he has not officially joined the African Democratic Congress because some issues concerning the zoning of the presidential ticket have not been resolved.
In the report that surfaced online, Bolaji Abdullahi stated that the party is still at the stage where members are telling Nigerians what they can offer. He said the party has not strated discussion on zoning its ticket.
The ADC spokesperson however, urged the former governor of Anambra state to make up his mind and join the party.
Here is what Bolaji Abdullahi said according to PUNCH;
“We’re not talking about zoning or no zoning now. Nigerians are still waiting for us to tell them what we will do differently.
“So, zoning or no zoning is not on the table now. If that is the condition for Obi to join us, maybe he should wait till that time”. View, More,
